Description
The Technology Support Technician is responsible for providing technical support to all stores and support center employees by installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and upgrading computer software and hardware. The position requires frequent travel and will work closely with all store personnel. This position reports directly to the Field Technology Manager.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities include by not limited to, the following:
Supporting each Golden Pantry store by addressing all hardware, software, and network issues. Regular communication with Team Members at stores. Able to troubleshoot/repair computers, payment processing systems, networking equipment, and point of sale systems such as NCR and Passport. Able to effectively troubleshoot and repair under minimal supervision. Keep abreast of PCI compliance data security standards. Able to effectively communicate with store and office personnel. Responds to Technology requests from stores in a quick and efficient manner. Speak with vendors who assist in fixing escalated problems. Expected to keep up-to-date logs of their trips and accurate information and inventory of equipment. On-call phone rotation once trained. Other tasks and projects assigned by Supervisor. Requirements

Excellent problem solving and time management skills Understanding of diverse computer systems and networks is preferred Outstanding communication skills IT or relevant experience is required Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. Medium work that includes moving objects up to 20/50/80 pounds. Operating motor vehicles. Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned. Adjusting or moving objects up to 20/50/80 pounds in all directions. Communicating with others to exchange information. Repeating motions that may include the wrist, hands and/or fingers. Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods. Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles. Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces. Moving about to complete tasks, moving from one worksite to another. Operating machinery and/or power tools. Characteristics and Behavioral Requirements:
