Lead a growing team of 5-10 highly motivated and talented software engineers across multiple technical areasDrive a goal-based software development process, balancing the product roadmap against technical infrastructure and security improvementsCoordinate and collaborate with other groups including (but not limited to) strategy, product management, quality, UX, data science, business development, and technical program managementHelp to assess, create, and execute on hiring plansCultivate an environment of collaboration, transparency and passion for technical excellenceDevelop, train, and mentor software engineering staffHelp the team make decisions, keep moving forward, and propose changes and improvements to promote scalable, reliable, and maintainable technologiesYou are an ideal candidate for our team if you value:

10+ years of developing and shipping production software5+ years of leading engineering teams including building product roadmaps, running agile processes, performance management, conflict resolution, and career developmentA genuine passion for management, and a desire to build the best management practice possibleExperience building cohesive teams, including interviewing and closing exceptional engineersStrong communication and analytical skillsA commitment to fostering inclusion and diversity within your team and the larger organizationYou remember enough about writing code that you can conduct a solid code reviewBS or MS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experienceComfort with cloud, back/frontend, and mobile developmentExperience managing engineers that develop in node.js, Typescript, ReactExperience with development tools and technologies such as AWS, Azure, REST, JSON, GraphQL, NoSQL$195,000 - $234,000 a year
