office.The

Implementation Specialist

is responsible for the successful implementation of COBRA, State Continuation, Direct Bill, and client migrations. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, well organized, able to prioritize the workload, and able to work well with other Day 2 Services teams while ensuring the highest quality of service.The IS will manage client implementations from receipt of the implementation request through client communications and buildout to the client's transition to the COBRA Services team. We utilize WEX Health Cloud for COBRA administration and EPIC, Employee Navigator, and TPA Stream to house client information. We track projects in Smartsheet and house internal processes in SharePoint.Responsibilities:

Establish all new COBRA, Direct Bill, and State Continuation business following Implementation team documentation and processes; and assist in migrating new partnership clients into WEX.Communicate with clients, Producers, and Account Managers via phone, email, and online meetings.Coordinate implementations across internal departments, including Producers, Account Managers, the COBRA Services operational team, accounting, and externally with clients, TPA’s, brokers, and carriers.Respond to emails and phone messages within the same business day.Create and continually monitor implementation deliverables and maintain project trackers.Thoroughly review all submitted documentation for accuracy and provide timely feedback on incomplete or missing information to keep the implementation on track.Set up EDI vendor files in Excel and .csv and carrier eligibility processing notifications with non-EDI vendors.Provide ongoing training for clients and internal associates on implementation processes, the client and broker portal, and invoicing and remittance processes.Proactively address and resolve client and COBRA member issues.Monitor COBRA member payments and eligibility during implementation, to ensure COBRA eligibility is updated timely.Provide input on team processes and SOP’s.Other tasks as assigned.Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe and .csv file formats.Maintain knowledge of COBRA and State Continuation rules.Ensure strict compliance with all COBRA and HIPAA requirements.Understand SPD’s, SBC’s, and employee benefits.Ability to multitask and lead projects to a successful closure.Possess strong interpersonal and proactive troubleshooting skills.Utilize excellent organizational and time management skills.Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.Ability to work independently, assess situations quickly, and make logical and appropriate decisions based on Implementation team policies and procedures.ECFC COBRA certification a plus; must pass the COBRA certification exam within one year.Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 25 pounds. Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens.Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person.Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, 10-key.Walking, bending, sitting, reaching, and stretching in all directions.
