Job Title: Associate Immigration AttorneyJob Overview:
A prominent law firm in Orange, CA, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Immigration Attorney. The role involves providing strategic immigration services to clients, managing a diverse caseload, and collaborating with a team of attorneys and legal assistants. The ideal candidate is passionate about immigration law, client-focused, and ready to contribute to the firm’s growth and success.Duties:Explain immigration concepts and offer strategic solutions to clients.Represent non-detained and detained individuals in immigration court and appeals.Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload of immigration cases.Conduct intake interviews with detained individuals at detention centers.Prepare and file various immigration applications, including those for removal defense and family-based immigration.Review and adjust immigration application packets as necessary.Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations on immigration law updates.Conduct strategic consultations with potential clients to assess their immigration needs.Develop strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court or USCIS testimony.Provide legal analysis to identify case benefits for clients.Draft and submit legal briefs for various immigration matters.Requirements:Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in immigration law.Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.Ability to move cases forward efficiently and manage a caseload independently.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.Familiarity with family-based petitions, humanitarian applications, EOIR, detained cases, citizenship, and other USCIS filings.Proficiency in using case management software is an advantage.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Skills:Strong communication and negotiation skills.Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.Proficiency in legal research and drafting.Collaborative team player with a problem-solving attitude.Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Job Location:Orange, CAComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) plan with employer matching.Paid time off (PTO) and holidays.Complimentary parking.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.Catered lunches and other workplace perks.We are looking for an IP attorney who has a proven record of client development with 5 years of experience specifically in U.S./foreign trademark prosecution (search, filings and responses to office actions), domain name disputes...
