GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the corporate office of United Parks & Resorts located in Orlando, FL. The Business Analyst plays a central role in aligning the needs of the business with the capabilities within IT and serves as a liaison among the various stakeholders. This role will utilize a variety of analysis techniques and have a working knowledge of the business unit and business processes they support. The project business analyst elicits, documents, and validates business requirements following the project lifecycle and collaborates with IT to translate those requirements into viable solutions. The project business analyst's role will also include scoping and managing estimation efforts by working with internal teams to estimate project costs and timelines. This individual will be familiar with user acceptance testing and comfortable coordinating the testing efforts between stakeholders and IT teams. The BA will also be responsible for sustainment of applications in their area and will work closely with vendors and the development staff.Ability to translate requirements into design specifications, use cases, user stories and other functional design documentsUnderstanding and experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Conducts elicitation activities using various elicitation techniquesConducts requirements walkthroughs and obtains sign offsManages the traceability of the requirements throughout the project lifecycleCoordinates user acceptance testing efforts and produces required deliverablesDevelops requirements and project documentation according to our PMO standard templates and processesHelp troubleshoot and sustain applications for their area working closely with vendors and internal developmentQualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field or 3 years progressive work experienceMinimum of 3 years' experience in an IT Business Analyst roleA minimum of 2 full lifecycle implementationsMust be detailed oriented with excellent problem solving skillsMust have strong verbal and written communication skillsMust have experience working successfully in a collaborative, team-oriented environmentMust be proficient with the Microsoft products (Visio, SharePoint, Office, OneNote)Must have familiarity with software development methodologiesMust have a basic understanding of technology structures such as networks, databases, internet, etc.Must be available to work onsite in Orlando, FLPrevious hospitality or theme park experience is desirableSkills & Key Competencies:Proactively communicates and collaborates with internal and external customers to analyze needs and requirements and deliver required projects artifacts on time and on budgetAbility to multitask and prioritize project needsAbility to manage small- to mid-scale projects with multiple stakeholdersAbility to understand and manage business needs in the context of departmental initiativesFunctions as a liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teamsPerforms workflow and process modeling using various notations and techniquesAbility to work well in a fast-paced environmentAbility to participate on cross functional project teams to achieve successful implementation of projectsGLOTECH, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer - Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
