Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Supply Chain Director to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement supply chain strategies.

Oversee procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.

Collaborate with production, sales, and finance departments.

Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Leverage technology and data analytics for efficiency.

Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics.

Develop and manage the supply chain budget.

Lead and mentor supply chain team members.

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.

Optimize inventory levels to meet demand.

Ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Implement cost-saving measures.

Coordinate with external partners for importing opportunities.

Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Report on supply chain performance to leadership.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Ensure high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Extensive background in Industrial Distribution and Importing is critical.

5+ years of experience in supply chain management.

Proven track record in a leadership role.

Strong understanding of supply chain best practices.

Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems. Familiarity with P21 is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience in managing cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance.

Strong project management skills.

Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.

Experience with data analytics and performance metrics.

Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.

Experience in supplier relationship management.
