Overview:Join a dynamic financial services firm as an HR Business Partner, working alongside a team of four experienced BPs. This role offers the opportunity to partner with key stakeholders, provide strategic HR guidance, and drive people initiatives that align with business objectives. Candidates must have prior experience in the banking or financial services sector and be comfortable working on-site in New York City 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, providing HR support and guidance on all people-related matters.
Partner with the leadership team to drive talent management, performance reviews, and succession planning initiatives.
Lead employee relations, ensuring a positive work environment and addressing any HR concerns.
Support recruitment efforts, working closely with talent acquisition to attract top talent in line with business needs.
Drive diversity and inclusion strategies to foster an inclusive workplace culture.
Collaborate with the broader HR team to implement organizational changes and ensure smooth transitions.
Provide insights on workforce trends, HR metrics, and best practices to inform business decisions.
Handle compensation reviews, employee development, and engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
3-5 years of HR Business Partner experience within the banking or financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, compensation structures, and HR best practices.
Proven experience managing employee relations, talent development, and performance management.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work on-site in New York City at least 4 days a week.
