We are seeking a dynamic Senior Entertainment Sales Manager. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit. The role will be responsible for the Entertainment and Production Segments (Group and Transient).
ResponsibilitiesAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and direct sales goals including outside sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, client entertainment and attending tradeshows
Develop, manage, and cultivate long term client relationships that produce both group and business travel business
Create, track, manage and follow up on all business inquiries to generate group room nights, transient revenue and associated food and beverage revenue to impact RevPar performance
Provide detailed, accurate and timely communication on groups, corporate clients, and new accounts to Hotel Leadership
Perform customer site inspections to uncover needs and present solutions that will maximize booking opportunity and create strong customer relationships
Understand and utilize the sales tools the company provides and to follow and support all sales and marketing operating systems.
Adjust group pricing and recommend group concessions as needed to secure group business in support of hotel budget targets
Use company wide programs, sales developments, prospecting projects, and reporting for group business development
Review daily arrivals to isolate potential new clients
Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
Attend relevant meetings, including but not exclusive to: Daily Stand-Up meetings, Sales Meeting, Pre-Convention Meetings, and BEO/Resume Meetings
Core Competencies
Four (4) years related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
Minimum Two (2) years related experience selling Entertainment or Production Group required
Strong communication skills

Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Office, Opera PMS, Delphi
