Director, Global Compensation

The Director, Global Compensation is a highly impactful role partnering with key business leaders and HR Partners to manage, design and administer global broad-based compensation programs. This position will manage a team that keeps up-to-date on market practices, conducts analytics and develops best in class compensation programs and tools.

Accountabilities

Develops and implements long term strategic plan for delivery of market competitive broad-based compensation and recognition policies and programs

Develops and manages the day-to-day delivery of compensation and recognition programs and projects globally

Partners with business leaders to assess and design incentive and sales programs

Consults with leaders and HR Partners on compensation-related needs to ensure consistent management globally

Manages global compensation programs and structures for market-competitiveness and provide recommendations for effective change; ensures global role alignment within the organization

Manage benchmarking process to ensure jobs are correctly aligned to global structures

Responsible for monitoring new or revised laws and regulations for impact to global compensation programs

Lead, review and refine global compensation administration processes including annual merit review process and trainings

Partners with HRIS team to ensure HCM setup supports compensation processes

Leads evaluation and implementation of compensation programs from M&A activity or organizational redesign

Manages vendor relationships and contract negotiations; holds vendors accountable for service delivery and manages SLAs

Leads and develops global compensation team to meet internal delivery standards

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

10+ years of experience in HR/broad-based compensation matters

Significant team leadership experience in global multi-business unit environment

Experience in public traded company

Experience with alignment of incentive and sales programs to business objectives

Through understanding of independencies of compensation systems and HCM system – Workday experience preferred

Ability to prioritize work and ensure deadlines are met; high attention to detail

Ability to communicate clearly, partner with various teams within the organization and influence key leaders

Strong analytical and financial acumen required

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
