Draft and review franchise agreements, franchise disclosure documents, and other regulatory filings.Guide intricate business transactions within the franchise and distribution sectors.Advise clients on compliance with U.S. franchising laws, covering both domestic and international matters.Collaborate with a team of attorneys on franchise-related litigation and transactional matters.Work with a wide variety of clients, including emerging franchisors, established brands, private equity firms, and international companies entering the U.S. market.Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in transactional franchise law.Strong knowledge of U.S. franchise regulations, with additional experience in international franchising or M&A preferred.Admission to practice law in California, or eligibility for admission via waiver.Excellent analytical, drafting, and writing skills.Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar or eligibility for admission.Skills:
Superior organizational and drafting abilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication skills for client engagement and team collaboration.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.Client-focused approach with a dedication to providing strategic legal counsel.
