Assists in the evaluation and analysis of the UPS infrastructure. Install, monitor, manage, and troubleshoot UPS systems. Maintains inventory and ordering of hardware. Keep updated documentation.Designs, installs, and troubleshoots the UPS infrastructure across all FIU locations focusing on the technological requirements and business continuity.Monitors and maintains the UPS infrastructure, including power and temperature alerts, battery replacements, and software upgrades.Manages the creation and resolution of UPS related service requests providing meaningful updates to end users and detailed documentation.Maintains the UPS and battery inventory, including the ordering, receiving, and disposal of equipment.Updates the configuration templates on the UPS systems for thresholds, event logging, reporting, and security compliance.Creates and/or revises the necessary documentation to standardize and catalog the procedures utilized during routine UPS operations.Implements the automation of UPS related managing tasks.Maintains current knowledge of new UPS technologies, related hardware, and software applications.Assists in the day-to-day operations of FIUs enterprise network and voice infrastructure.Assists in deployment, testing and troubleshooting of ENS devices.Participates in the on-call rotation schedule to provide after-hours support.Performs essential duties in any emergencies such as hurricanes, storms, and/or any other university emergency closing.Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma and four (4) years of related experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures for network and computer support.Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.Job Category
