Visit us online at www.arcxis.com.Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our HR team. The role is critical in fostering a positive work environment by managing employee relations, facilitating performance reviews, conducting stay and exit interviews and helping drive functions of the HR scope within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of employment law, and experience in employee relations and performance management. You will work closely with managers and employees to address concerns, improve performance, and retain top talent.Primary Responsibilities:Employee Relations:Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.Investigate and resolve employee issues in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Provide guidance and training to managers on handling employee relations issues and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures to promote fair and equitable treatment of all employees.Mediate disputes between employees and/or management and promote healthy communication practices.Performance Management:Partner with managers to conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and address performance issues.Ensure the performance review process is applied consistently across the organization and in alignment with the company’s goals.Analyze performance trends to identify opportunities for improvement and employee development.Stay and Exit Interviews:Conduct stay interviews with current employees to assess engagement, identify areas for improvement, and proactively address retention risks.Conduct exit interviews with departing employees to gather insights on turnover, workplace satisfaction, and areas for improvement.Compile and analyze data from stay and exit interviews to provide actionable insights and recommendations to HR leadership and managers.Compliance and Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of employee relations cases, performance reviews, and stay/exit interviews.Ensure that all employee relations activities are conducted in accordance with federal and state labor laws and company policies.Assist in compliance audits and investigations as needed, ensuring HR practices meet all regulatory requirements.Support to HR Leadership:Provide additional support to the HR Manager and Director in implementing HR initiatives, including talent development, employee engagement, and workforce planning.Assist with special HR projects and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the HR department.Reports to : HR ManagerRequirementsEducation, Experience and Desired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field3-5 years of experience in employee relations, performance management, or a similar HR roleStrong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and HR best practicesExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees at all levelsStrong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalismExperience in conducting stay and exit interviews, with the ability to analyze data and provide actionable insightsProficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentialityExcellent coaching and mentoring skillsPreferred Qualifications:SHRM-CP or PHR certificationExperience with HR data analysis and reportingSupervisory Responsibility:
