This position will be based at our office in Denver, CO. Position Overview The Chief Commercial Officer, NA (CCO) will report to the president, North America, and will play a pivotal role driving strategy and execution of the North America business objectives. The CCO will develop commercial strategies, lead strategic customer and partner engagements, and ensure that portfolio & investment objectives are met. They will lead the sales, commercial and general management functions, working closely with the SVP market development, SVP Energy, SVP Construction, CTO, and CFO, to create commercial opportunities that align to customer requirements and create value for shareholders. The CCO will report to the President, CEO and Board on all commercial matters. This position requires a deep understanding of financial markets and commercial structures, as well as strong negotiation skills, a proven track record in business development, and the ability to make informed decisions that enhance the company's competitive edge and long-term financial performance across the data center industry. Essential Job Functions Commercial Management: Oversee the analysis and valuation of potential investment opportunities, ensuring thorough due diligence and financial modeling.

Direct the structuring and negotiation of investment deals, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with strategic objectives.

Monitor the financial performance of investments, ensuring they meet or exceed expected returns and align with company goals.

Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders to secure favorable financing and investment partnerships.

Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue generation and operational efficiency within the investment portfolio.

Sales Leadership: Guide a team of seasoned sales executives in developing, cultivating and closing significant customer opportunities

Evaluate new customer opportunities and develop strategies to expand and grow customer relationships

Work with legal, tax and finance to ensure commercial and legal terms are in the best interest of Vantage shareholders

Provide executive sponsorship and cultivate relationships with major customers

Inform and influence business strategy and decisions including market expansion and product decisions based on customer insights and feedback

General Management: Provide insights into the performance of the overall portfolio and individual investments, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting related to investment activities.

Analyze financial statements to assess the impact of investment decisions on the company's financial health.

Develop and maintain comprehensive risk reports that detail the exposure and management of various investment risks.

Present risk assessments and mitigation strategies to the executive team and board.

Offer analysis and projections that can impact the company's investment strategy and decisions.

Communicate investment performance, strategy, and outlook to key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and regulatory bodies.

Ensure that stakeholders are informed and confident in the company's investment approach and outcomes.

Prepare and present detailed investment performance reports to the executive team and board of directors on a regular basis.

Respond to ad hoc requests from the executive team and board for specific investment analyses or information.

Prepare and deliver presentations on new investment opportunities, strategic initiatives, and other relevant topics.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with the President, C-Suite, and other executives to develop and implement the company's overall strategic plan, ensuring alignment across all teams.

Provide regular updates and detailed reports to the executive team and board of directors on investment performance

Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Encourage the use of advanced analytics, technology, and innovative practices to enhance decision-making processes and investment strategies.

Additional Duties: Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree: In Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Advanced Degree: Preferred, such as a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or a Master's in Finance (MFin).

Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles within the investment management or financial industry.

Data Center Industry Experience: Strong preference for candidates with direct experience in the data center industry or related sectors (e.g., real estate, infrastructure).

Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale investment portfolios, preferably in real estate, infrastructure, or technology sectors.

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic investment plans that align with business objectives and market trends.

Expertise in identifying and mitigating investment risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.

Proficiency in financial analysis, valuation techniques, and financial modeling to evaluate investment opportunities.

Experience ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing investment activities.

Skills: Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Proven capabilities in developing teams, coaching, and skill mentoring.

Excellent team management and leadership skills, customer/business support experience with highly technical, engineering-oriented

organizations/environments.

Ability to develop and communicate relevant department metrics, SLA and performance reports to executive management.

Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to technical and non-technical audiences, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.

Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and building automation systems.

Travel required is expected to be up to 50% but may increase over time as the business evolves.

Additional Details Salary Range: $320,000-340,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
