Explain immigration processes and present strategic solutions to clientsRepresent detained and non-detained clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration AppealsManage an active caseload, including client communicationsConduct intake and interviews with detained individuals at detention centersPrepare and review various immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitionsAdjust and finalize immigration packets as requiredCollaborate with law enforcement, prosecutors, and community-based organizations on immigration law updatesConduct consultations to develop individualized immigration strategies for clientsPrepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimonyProvide legal analysis to determine potential case benefitsDraft and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration casesRequirements:
Demonstrated interest in immigration law, such as participation in law school clinics, volunteer work, or internshipsAbility to effectively manage caseload and move cases forwardTeam-oriented with strong interpersonal skillsExperience with case management software (preferred)Education:
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications:
Active bar admission (recent law graduates awaiting admission will also be considered)Skills:
