As a QA Engineer you will be responsible for quality assurance activities in the context of software implementations by our consulting teams, driving higher customer satisfaction as the ultimate objective through quality by design. Working as part of a team of Planisware functional and technical consultants, you will set the bar high when it comes to quality assurance and testing activities, and will proactively help drive improvements within the teams to achieve this.Your ResponsibilitiesWork alongside and as part of consulting teams to deliver high quality implementations to Planisware customersAnalyze user stories and functional requirements for completeness, and proactively ask questions to confirm assumptions or have unclear features explainedDerive test cases for Planisware projects that will verify expected outcomes and help identify gaps or unanticipated behaviorsDesign and execute test scripts to test Planisware implementation of user stories, documenting validation of test scenarios, defects, and resolutionAnalyze test results, review test scripts and documentation for other team members as neededPro-actively track progress against plan for testing activitiesFollow Planisware quality processes to ensure all standards are adhered to and documentation provided in a timely mannerUse Planisware and customer tools, such as Jira, Azure to manage and track requirements, test cases, results and defects. Proactively track metrics in these tools to ensure tasks are on scheduleLiaise with the consulting and managed service teams to ensure clarifications/requests for information are proactively communicated and responded to effectively, and risks and issues are tracked, monitored and communicated to stakeholdersDefine the scope of regressions suites, with guidance and support from the consulting teams, and be responsible for maintaining these each sprintEffectively present information in both written and verbal form to management, customers, or other team membersHelp with quality audits, improvement initiatives and other quality activities as neededYour QualificationsBA or BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldIdeally 1-3 years of experience, at least as an intern in a software development environment, preferably with a QA focusRequires basic knowledge of principles, theories and concepts of QA and the software development lifecycle, and software methodologiesGood organizational skills, being able to work effectively on concurrent projects are requiredAbility to be a point person for QA discussions and queries within the teamsAble to understand and translate functional use cases and/or technical specifications into test casesStrong written and oral communication skillsQuick learner, efficient multi-tasker, and team playerPreferred QualificationsExperience in SaaS environmentsExperience in Agile methodologiesPossession of quality assurance certification(s)Knowledge of portfolio and/or project management and experience with such software platformsBenefits3 weeks paid vacation9 Paid holidaysUp to 4 months maternity leavePaternity leaveHealth, dental, and vision insuranceLife, short and long-term disability insurance401(k) plan with company variable contributionProfit sharingFSA plan, including employer contributionCell phone and internet allowancesCompany annual kick-off tripQuarterly events/monthly happy hourCompany charitable donation matchCommunity outreachTuition assistance programGraduate program
