F_IT COMMAND CENTERFull Time80622BRJob SummaryThe Senior Analyst, Disaster Recovery is a pivotal role within the Information Technology (IT) department. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the formulation, execution, and ongoing refinement of the organization's Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and protocols. The Senior Analyst, Disaster Recovery will assist in crafting comprehensive disaster recovery plans, conducting regular risk assessments to pinpoint vulnerabilities, and integrating these plans with current IT systems and practices.They will also coordinate and conduct DR tests to ensure the efficacy of recovery strategies, document outcomes, maintain compliance with industry standards, and manage training programs to enhance staff awareness and preparedness for disaster scenarios. In the event of an actual disaster, the Senior Analyst, Disaster Recovery will play a crucial role in managing response and recovery operations alongside the Program Manager, providing both technical and operational support to expedite the restoration of IT functions.The Senior Analyst, Disaster Recovery will positively impact UCSF's operations and culture by ensuring UCSF's IT infrastructure is operable, secure, efficient, and effective in service of the University's mission.
