The successful candidate will provide legal counsel on a range of employee benefits and executive compensation issues, including the design, implementation, and maintenance of retirement plans, health and welfare programs, deferred compensation plans, and incentive structures. The role will also involve advising on ERISA fiduciary matters and assisting with the employee benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.Location:Washington, D.C.Duties:Advise clients on the design, implementation, and maintenance of tax-qualified retirement plans and health & welfare benefit programsDraft and review non-qualified deferred compensation plans, incentive plans, and severance pay plansCounsel on ERISA fiduciary matters and ensure complianceAssist clients with employee benefits aspects of M&A transactionsProvide legal advice to a diverse clientele, including public corporations, privately held companies, financial institutions, and tax-exempt organizationsAnalyze and draft documents related to health & welfare and qualified plansRequirements:3 to 6 years of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation lawDemonstrated ability in drafting and analyzing health & welfare and qualified plan documentsExperience handling ERISA fiduciary matters and M&A-related benefitsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain client relationshipsExceptional legal research, writing, and analytical abilitiesEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdictionSkills:Expertise in employee benefits and executive compensation regulationsStrong drafting, writing, and communication skillsAbility to manage complex legal matters independently and as part of a teamProficient in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong client management and interpersonal skillsCompetitive compensation and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and career advancementCompany infoBCG Attorney Search1629 K ST NW, Suite 300WashingtonDistrict of ColumbiaUnited States 20006Phone :
