Consumer Financial Regulatory Associate - Mid-LevelLocation:
Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, San Francisco, or SeattleDirect Counsel is seeking a mid-level associate attorney with a minimum of four years’ experience in regulatory matters to join a leading Financial Services Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have experience with consumer financial regulations, including those related to payments and credit products at the state and federal levels, as well as unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices laws. Strong communication skills are essential, along with a commitment to client service. Experience in emerging platforms/FinTech, mortgage lenders/services, cryptocurrency, and other digital assets is a plus, though prior law firm experience is not required. Candidates must be a member of a local bar in good standing.Key Responsibilities:Assist in navigating regulatory matters related to consumer financial services.Engage with a variety of clients in the financial services industry.Application Process:To apply, upload a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and a list of representations in PDF format.Salary:The annualized salary range for this position in New York City, Washington D.C., and other locations is $205,000 to $330,000, adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors.
