Your Role at BaxterThe Manager of IT Infrastructure Services – Day 2 encompasses oversight of cloud and premise hosting, network services, and end-user collaboration services. The manager will lead a global team, manage external vendors, enforce security policies, and align infrastructure solutions with the organization's overall business objectives. The position is essential for ensuring the seamless operation of the company's IT infrastructure, and contributing to efficiency and success.
What You'll be doing:
Lead and run the vision and design of cloud infrastructure including compute and storage for cloud hosting.
Build the strategy for private, hybrid and public cloud use. Leads the operationalization and scale strategies for all cloud based critical initiatives.
Partner with senior level collaborators across Infrastructure and Operations as well as partnering organizations to build and maintain value generating cloud products and services.
Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security and other infrastructure and operations teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions and support methods.
Deploy objectives and strategies to continuously improve resiliency, redundancy and security of cloud products and services through DevOps practices and site reliability engineering.
Ensure availability, performance, and scalability of cloud-based systems.
Handle database systems, security measures, and recovery processes.
Maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers.
Plan and handle budgets for cloud, network, and end-user services.
Defines and maintains critical cloud policies regarding SLA’s, agreements with security, disaster recovery, acceptable use, data retention and other areas.
Lead major incident management and service requests globally.
Maintain CMDB and asset management processes.
What You'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including cloud, network, and end-user services.
Demonstrated success in building and implementing a sophisticated cloud ecosystem, with intimate knowledge of cloud fundamentals.
Experience leading IT personnel and external service providers.
Extensive knowledge of cloud, network, and end-user hardware and software solutions.
Ability to lead multiple projects and communicate effectively with upper management.
Availability for off-hour calls and system work.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $120,000.00 - $165,000.00 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
