Construction SuperintendentLocation: Houston, TXSalary: $100K-$130KAbout:National company that operates in several states. They do a little bit of everything from complex commercial builds, usually in healthcare, higher education, light industrial, senior living, life sciences, laboratories, community / municipal work.Role Summary:The Superintendent is responsible for field operations on the project(s) assigned. This position must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and client service skills.Lead and oversee all aspects on projects.Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients.Develop and maintain site logistics plan, in coordination with Project Manager.Attend and participate in project meetings, including subcontractor meetings.Assists with PreCon/Estimating phase of the project.Reviews and approves submittals for processing.Reviews and verifies all Requests for Information (RFIs).QualificationsBachelor’s Degree- Construction Management4+ years of industry experience.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Functions effectively as part of a team.Exhibits strong leadership skills.Strong decision making/problem solving skills.
