2nd Shift NOC Analyst

The NOC Analyst role is primarily responsible for the intake, monitoring, and ticketing of all service-impacting events supported by NOC process. This role serves as the initial point of contact for any suspected large-scale issues affecting business services, utilizing various intake methods including phone calls, email, in-person reports, monitoring tool telemetry, and instant messaging notifications. The NOC Analyst is tasked with quickly triaging, documenting, and either repairing or escalating incidents to the NOC Operator in accordance with NOC processes outlined in Method & Procedure documentation. An effective NOC Analyst candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage and escalate issues efficiently, ensuring that critical incidents are escalated within 15 minutes to minimize business impact.

Must be able to work 3:00pm - 12:00am ESTMust be able to come onsite to Zionsville, IN 3 days a week.2-3 years of experience working in network or NOC operations, handling incidents and monitoring infrastructureAbility to quickly identify and address issues under time-sensitive conditionsBasic proficiency in troubleshooting network and system issuesStrong verbal and written communication skills to accurately report and escalate incidentsAbility to adhere to predefined processes and work efficiently within SLA-driven operationsEnthusiasm for learning new tools, technologies, and methods relevant to NOC operations
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Proven experience using monitoring platforms (e.g., Datadog, SolarWinds) to support network and system stabilityExperience with cloud-based monitoring services such as AWS CloudWatch or Azure MonitorUnderstanding of modern networking technologies like SD-WAN or MPLSBasic automation or scripting capabilities for network operations (Ansible, Terraform)Ability to document and refine processes to improve efficiency in incident responseCertifications in networking, cloud, or security.
