Position Purpose:
The purpose of this position is a supporting role to the Shipping Receiving Supervisor and the ministrys onsite and offsite shipping needs. The primary duties associated with this position are understanding mailing requirements, shipping software(s) for processing orders, assisting the Shipping Receiving Supervisor with freight orders, gathering shipping quotes, verifying prepared freight is packed and labeled correctly; packing and shipping of all product orders, and GTC/Church meetings. You will also be responsible for assisting in receiving orders, helping coordinate the receiving product(s), and that the stock is appropriately placed, tagged, and accounted for.
Essential Duties:Assists the Shipping Receiving Supervisor in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment and assists the Shipping Receiving Supervisor in directing others to prepare outgoing and receiving incoming shipments.Assist in creating and maintaining management reports as requested.Determines the method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and ratesCompares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons and use a strapping machine.Assist in coordinating the weekly Marketing Mail orders; paperwork & processing at local BMEU.Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shippers to rectify damages and shortages.Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.Must be able to operate fork truck, pallet jack, or hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area.Maintains and restocks inventory of shipping materials and supplies.Quickly identify problems and develop plans to solve issues, seek timely assistance as neededOther Various Duties will be assigned by Shipping Receiving SupervisorBe able to cross-train in additional Coordinator positions to help cover during vacationsBe able to help the other Coordinators in the event that an area falls behindQualifications

Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.Must sign Statement of Faith.A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.Certified or ability to be certified in the operation of Fork TruckClean Driving Record and insurable to operate a company vehicleMust pass a background checkExperience:
Prior work-related experience preferred2+ years with supervisory responsibilities preferredCompensation is commensurate with experience
