We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at 504 Golf, a premier golf entertainment venue within the heart of New Orleans. The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the venue's operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and service excellence.
$75,000 - $85,000 per year
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Experience + Operations
• Execute service and drive standards ensuring that the same hospitality is experienced for each guest that walks through the doors.
o This may include regular daily service, supporting private events and corporate initiatives.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
o In collaboration with the General Manager, develop proactive strategies for these opportunities.
• Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
o Oversight of the facilities manager and ensuring that they have the resources needed to maintain proper operations across both Golf Bays and F&B spaces.
Team Management
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring high levels of performance and ensure exceptional guest service by training the team in hospitality best practices.
• Directly oversee the team of service managers and supervisors, ensuring that all areas of responsibility are maintained in support of the service model.
• Scheduling: Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal labor costs.
Financial Support
• Assist the General Manager in developing and managing the venue's budget by providing operational insight into efficiencies opportunities that support achieving expense and profits targets.
• Oversee inventory control and front of house ordering processes. This may include beverage and service supplies.
• Develop cost control measures to maximize profitability.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within the hospitality or entertainment and restaurant industry. A focus in beverage management is a bonus!
• Proven track record of successfully managing a high-volume, hospitality-focused operation.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Financial acumen, with experience reading financial reports and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Passion for hospitality and providing a stellar guest experience.
Working Conditions

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the facility for extended periods.
