Position Purpose
The staff accountant will process purchase and sales documents in accordance with the department's Standard Operating Procedures/Internal Controls for CENTERS, LLC, the sister company of Brailsford and Dunlavey.
Position ResponsibilitiesManage the submission/payment process for employees' expenses and credit card transactions.Enter/Upload transactions accurately, ensuring all documentation is provided, correct G/L codes and project codes are selected, and totals match.Reconciliation of all employee records quarterlyProcess client invoices timely and accurately.Work with project leads to assemble invoices in accordance with contractual and financial reporting standards.Compile client invoices with substantiation and remit them to clients in a timely manner.Manage the vendor payment process in a timely and accurate.Ensure approved documents are coded correctly before recordation within the AIS.Enter transactions accurately, ensuring the correct document type, project code, and G/L accountsEnsure all client and vendor files are complete, accurate, and orderly.Promptly assemble and file financial records (either in physical or digital format) and all vendor correspondence in accordance with department standards.Manage document retention for all vendor files.Maintain balance sheet schedules.Prepare site-specific financial statements.Assist with business management matters.Respond to requests for information (RFI's) by project staff, clients, and vendors.Handle requests professionally while quickly and accurately providing information.Ensure data requests are authorized; protecting information from either internal or external requests that are not legitimate.Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.2 years of accounting experience is preferred.Audit experience is preferred.Public accounting experience is preferred.Able to use Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookProficient in utilizing Accounting Information SystemsOrganized, with team-ready focus and attitude.Willingness to learn and excel in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail.Effective communicator (oral and written).Demonstrated sensitivity, knowledge and understanding of individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, gender, gender identity or expression, religion, cultural, disability and ethical backgrounds and sensitivity to/knowledge and understanding of groups historically underrepresented.

The base annual salary range for this role is currently $68,000-75,000. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate, and pay relative to other team members
