A Day in the Life of the Enterprise Account Manager
Under general supervision, the Enterprise Account Manager is responsible to add value to each of the following areas of the business: account management, project management, and strategy/process management. The Enterprise Account Manager is to articulate needs of the business and continually look for proficiencies to drive sustainability and profitability of sales. Also, the Enterprise Account Manager is to manage complex duties and confidently engage with all levels of stakeholders to ensure organizational effectiveness.
What are the requirements for this position?
* Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university* Generally, 5+ years of sales and management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite* Some travel required* Must possess a valid driver license* Are you qualified for this position? Job Responsibilities:
Account management:
* Develops growth strategies* Builds relationships with internal/external stakeholders (account managers, customers)* Collaborates with team to facilitate business needs (margin and sales analysis, completing Calculator for VP review)* Conducts research to identify new markets/customer needs* Prepares/assists Account Managers with company records, contracts, legal documentation, terms and conditions of sale* Develops sales strategies: programs, cross-selling, special buys, excess inventory, discontinued, create PPT documents for sales team etc.* Works as a client and internal team advocate with the goal to improve communication and execution
Project Management:
* Plans and leads specialized projects from ideation to completion* Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure all are in line with requirements, deadlines, and schedules* Meets with team members to collaborate and resolve issues and report to SVP* Prepares and maintains status/progress reports of relevant information* Continually interacts with internal and external stakeholders* Multi-tasks with many moving components to ensure timely completion* Meets necessary deadlines with accuracy and precision
Strategy/Process Management:
* Reviews efficiencies of current business processes* Plans, implements, and monitors proposed processes, recommendations, and projects* Meets with business managers to discuss business objectives* Helps develop process improvement plans for operational effectiveness* Troubleshoots new processes and conduct ongoing analysis to ensure strategy/process potential* Supports and helps develop short- and long-term organizational strategies* Supports and assists senior executive decision-making processes
