The
Regional Sales Manager
manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a region. They are also responsible for driving sales growth within their sales area as well as through the Area Sales/Account Managers or Independent Sales Agencies by developing positive performance of these managers with a focus of achieving results. In addition, the Regional Sales Manager will also be responsible for communication of market conditions and key customer performance.
What are the requirements for this position?
Minimum 7+ years of experience in external sales in the Green IndustryAbility to develop new sales leads and business opportunities with minimal guidanceValid driver’s license and clean driving recordModerate travel throughout Rocky Mountain area or beyond is requiredAre you qualified for this position? Establish strong relationships with distributors, contractors, home builders, irrigation designers, and landscape architect and identify new channel partners throughout assigned sales region, building sales plans to ensure success with these partnersResponsible for the strategic annual sales and marketing plans and results within a defined sales region based on geographical territory or assigned accounts.Regularly review and provide interpretation of goals, objectives, and standards for operations to resolve problems and makes recommendations regarding policies, pathways, and proceduresMonitor and evaluate operations, programs, processes, and practices for quality and effectiveness and makes recommendations for improvementAct as an expert in the functions, benefits, and application and methods of selling ETwater and associated brand productsMaintain a regular budget report for the regionSignificantly drive demand for ETwater products, achieving annual sales and profitability targetsAnalyze the market in relation to market share, current opportunities, and key accounts and implements a strategic plan to reach sales targets and increase market shareAttend and manage ETwater activity at distributor open houses and trade show eventsDevelop and participate in contractor events, distributor events, and industry tradeshowsAssist marketing in the identification and development of new and existing product needsReport results regularly to the National Sales Manager with additional special reports including annual sales plan, sales activity and results, forecasting, budget preparation, and reviewResponsible for key distributor and contractor account managementEnsure that all customer service levels are metAccount Management Duties and Responsibilities
