Description
Summary:
Supports the Manufacturing Center by following all Parts Room processes to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of production equipment. The functions of this position include but are not limited to maintaining proper spare part and supply levels, receiving, and issuing goods, and inventory control.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Review, evaluate, and monitor department purchase requisitions from order process through the receipt of goods. Collaborate with appropriate departments when questions arise.
2. Expedites all orders to meet deadlines and communicates back to internal customers on any backorders. Ensures that customer expectations and requirements are met. Coordinates and resolves any issues related to invoicing, receiving, and quality to meet customer expectations and requirements. Processes any returns to vendor to receive proper credit. Manages the repair process.
3. Manages all Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) by creating and making changes to material masters as well as any other functions related to managing materials in the system.
4. Assists in providing ERP reports to end-users to support spending against budget and to provide costs for future budgetary planning.
5. Participates in Continuous Process Improvement by collaborating with the Supply Chain, Maintenance, Engineering, and all Production Departments to establish lean processes.
6. Manages the Preventive Maintenance ERP work order process from work order creation to recording of data. Included in this process is the tracking of critical KPIs on equipment such as motor temperatures, equipment vibration, etc.
7. Administers inventory control by conducting daily cycle counts, maintain 6s standards, and stock Department Kanbans.
8. Manages employee uniform process. This includes setting up new employee uniforms, creating weekly purchase requisitions, reviewing all invoicing, removing employees no longer employed, and managing all discrepancies.
9. Accomplishes duties using safe work practices and equipment while being responsible for reporting all injuries and observed unsafe conditions.
10. Performs related work and additional duties as needed or required.
Education/Experience:
Minimum two years general office experience required with one year in a supply chain environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and customer focus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Prior experience with an ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc....).
Basic knowledge of common hand tools and common equipment parts.
Ability to solve problems unassisted
Strong organizational and Math skills
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40#
Ability to distinguish a full range of colors
Capable of working independently with attention to detail.
