Finance AssociateFSLA Status: ExemptLocation: Remote with a preference for candidates with Federal Government experience .JOB DESCRIPTIONPrecise is looking for an experienced Finance Associate with several years of experience in the govcon industry. The right person will have demonstrated knowledge of basic accounting principles with strong Billing, AR/AP/corporate and government general ledgers, Deltek Costpoint, and government invoicing procedures. Attention to detail and a mastery of Microsoft Excel are a requirement.Responsibilities Include:Extensive experience with Federal Government Billing.Managing the accounting for multiple government contract task orders. Prepare monthly invoices for active task orders while ensuring compliance with the contract and other regulations. Identify and resolve billing concerns with internal stakeholders, and post invoices in the accounting system in a timely manner.Verifying and posting details of business transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash receipts and disbursements, to systems and spreadsheets.Performing month-end project and account reconciliations and recommend financial adjustments as necessary.Working with Program Managers or other finance staff to produce financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and other analysis on a monthly or ad-hoc basis.Working closely with business teams in developing financial scenarios for bid and proposals.Qualifications:3-5 years of experience working with Deltek Costpoint or other government contracting, accounting, and invoicing systems.Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.Excellent communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills.Intermediate to advanced level MS Office skills, including Excel.Detail-oriented, focused, and able to work independently.Comfortable with setting expectations and articulating needs to team members.Follows up as needed with colleagues to produce required information in a timely and accurate manner.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.ABOUT USPrecise Software Solutions, Inc., an SBA 8(a) program participant, is an innovative small business with a proven record of success delivering quality services and solutions to government organizations.
