What you can expect from us:A Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm work scheduleA commission-based pay structure with a first-year potential of
$125,000 - $175,000
including commissions, dependent on experience and selling ability, and an annual base salary of

What we are looking for in YOU:Ability to cold call businesses both over the phone and in personAbility to make oral presentations to provide information or explain policies and proceduresSkill in speaking with persons of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgroundsWorking knowledge of personal computers, including Microsoft Office Suite on Surface ProsAbility to adapt to new technologyAbility to explain the outdoor advertising business to customers and account executives from installation and product standpointsSkill in writing grammatically correct routine business correspondenceAbility to perform effectively under fluctuating workloadsSkill in selling or promoting outdoor advertisementsSkill in establishing rapport and gaining the trust of othersAbility to establish and maintain cooperative working relationshipsAbility to meet a sales quotaWorking knowledge of general sales techniquesAbility to be intrinsically motivated to succeed and withstand rejectionSkill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction
Education and experience:Established book of businessCurrent and Valid Driver's LicenseCollege Degree preferredCRM experience preferred5 years of sales experience is required, preferably in outdoor advertisingOr equivalent combination of education & experience

Self-OrganizationCreate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales plan a month in advanceMaintain the appearance of a professional salespersonUse sales tools and complete daily planner/sales program after each call and at the end of the dayMaintain organized up-to-date records of clients and sales activity
Time ManagementMinimize travel time and maximize time in the field with clientsTravel overnight when necessaryUse the Lamar Sales Support Center and the Multi-Market Coordinators to sell multi-Lamar marketsCluster accounts to work them geographically and manage your time effectively
AdministrativeMaintain client profiles and be prepared to submit daily planners/call reports, sales plans, forecasts and expense reports on a timely basisFollow up on all client production orders and ensure campaigns begin and end as the client requested. If any problems arise, AE will communicate immediately with the client and manager to find a solutionAgree to check lights etc. on a regular basis when called uponOperate within your expense budget
Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe primary work environment for this position is an office.The physical demands for this position include light lifting, seeing (with a focus on reading, color distinction, acuity, depth perception, and peripheral vision), sitting less than 50% of the time, standing, talking, turning, and walking.Nights spent away from home traveling are less than 10%.
