JOB-7055 Senior Network Architect/Engineer Las Vegas, NV Contract Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas, NV based IT consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Network Architect to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect/Engineer with over 12 years of experience in network engineering, security, and systems analysis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex LAN/WAN infrastructure, network security, and SD-WAN integration. A proven track record in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, managing large-scale network transformations, and delivering optimal performance across enterprise environments is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated success in leading network migrations, particularly SD-WAN and hybrid WAN transformations. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering Technology or related field (preferred). Cisco Certifications such as: CCIE RS Written, CCNP Security, CCNP Route Switch, CCNA. Strong understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IPSec, VPN, and GRE. Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, AWS Security, load balancing (F5), and wireless controllers (Cisco WLC). PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience working with large-scale enterprises Expertise in designing and implementing high-availability data centers. Proficiency in cloud security architecture, including AWS and Cisco Cloud Center. RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, deploy, and maintain large-scale LAN/WAN infrastructure including routing, switching, and security solutions. Lead the architecture and implementation of infrastructure deployments across multiple regions, ensuring optimal application traffic routing. Review and develop network consolidation and transformation strategies. Collaborate with internal and external teams to integrate cloud-based IaaS, SaaS, and on-premises applications within the network architecture. Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus, ASR, ISR routers, and switches, as well as firewalls from Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and Juniper. Implement advanced security protocols, including Cisco ISE, and integrate them with other security solutions such as DNAC and Stealthwatch. Develop change management and disaster recovery plans for critical network infrastructure to ensure minimal downtime. Work with network monitoring tools (Splunk, Wireshark, etc.) to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance. Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and problem resolution across various network layers. Maintain up-to-date network documentation and support knowledge transfer for junior team members.
