Able to perform all duties of Safety RepresentativeProvide training and education programs to Company personnelOrganize pre-job safety planning meetings to plan for potential hazards and problems prior to start of jobInspect jobsites to ensure Company Safety Program and OSHA complianceProvide emergency response plans for projectsArrange for basic first aid training for jobsite personnelInvestigate and analyze bodily injury and property damage accidentsCoordinate project safety programs with subcontractorsCompile and issue regular accident report summariesProvide updated information to employees regarding safety requirements update or changesAssist with weekly foremen’s and monthly superintendents safety meetingsIdentify and handle project management personnel needing assistance, training, or discipline in meeting Corporate Safety guidelines and goalsComplete other responsibilities as assignedMINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Safety certification as CSP, ASP, CSP, OSHT, or CIH desiredBS in safety or equivalent5 years experience in safety or safety related fieldThorough knowledge of OSHA Construction RegulationsAbility to evaluate construction work activities with respect to safety and loss controlAbility to recognize and analyze Company trends with respect to Company accidentsAbility to recognize training needs and develop training in safetyComputer skills, i.e. Word, Power PointPresentation skillsSUMMARY OF BENEFITS:This role is eligible for the following benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), individual stock ownership, paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, bereavement leave, employee assistance program, pre-tax flexible spending accounts, basic term life insurance and AD&D, business travel accident insurance, short and long term disability, financial wellness coaching, educational assistance, Care.com membership, ClassPass fitness membership, and DashPass delivery membership.
