Research is highly valued, and the faculty has published in many premier accounting journals.About the Position:The Assistant Professor, Accounting teaches courses in undergraduate and graduate programs, conducts high-quality research, and contributes positively to the academic environment. This is a full-time position with benefits. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Summer funding is available contingent on the availability of funds.Responsibilities:

Conduct high-quality research for publication in top-tier academic journals;Teach accounting courses in undergraduate and/or graduate programs. The teaching load is determined according to the college’s workload policy;Provide service to the Accounting Area, the Costello College of Business, the University, and the profession, such as journal reviewing/editing, academic community engagement, student mentoring, committee membership, and interfacing with the business community.Required Qualifications:

PhD or equivalent in Accounting prior to the start of Fall 2025;Collegiality and ability to work well with colleagues;Ability to teach at least one of the following courses: Intermediate Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Accounting Analytics, or Tax;Evidence of a strong research trajectory with the potential for publications in top-tier accounting academic journals;Evidence of effective teaching or potential to teach effectively at undergraduate and graduate levels.Preferred Qualifications:
