OPPORTUNITY :

We are looking for a Business Applications Manager - Epic for a full time permanent onsite role in Las Vegas, NV.

SALARY :

$97K - $156K

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Responsible for overseeing streamlined operation of IT Applications solutions for Epic Access and Revenue Cycle applications/technologies, as well as third party integration support.

Plans and manages all aspects of design, implementation and maintenance of applications to effectively apply technology solutions to improve core functions of business operation applications.

Contributes to the development of hospital performance improvement strategies.

REQUIREMENTS :

Education/Experience :

Equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Science, Computer Science, Informatics, Business Administration, or closely related field and five (5) years leading and managing Epic/EHR implementations and enhancement experience in areas such as clinical data repositories, revenue cycle workflow, registration workflow, clinical documentation, computerized order entry/results reporting, and physician access systems.

Licensing/Certification Requirements :

Current active certification in specific Epic product(s).

Additional and/or Preferred Position Requirements :

Five (5) years of experience overseeing aspects related to Epic/EHR systems, and software.

Experience in managing complex technology EHR projects. This involves handling intricate initiatives related to infrastructure design, deployment, and optimization.

Experience in managing application analysts.

Current Epic Certification.

Knowledge of Revenue Cycle.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Physical Requirements :

Principles and practices of employee supervision, including selection, work planning, organization, performance review and evaluation, and employee training and discipline.

Planning, organizing, supervising, reviewing and evaluating the work of assigned staff; developing and implementing goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards.

Project management principles and practices; customer service principles and practices; implementing business process.

Efficient, effective and safe use of equipment.
