Project Manager
to advance our water, wastewater, stormwater design efforts across the New England Area. It is envisioned this candidate would have a mix of client development, project management, and project delivery responsibilities.In the role of
Project Manager , we will count on you to:Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline planning, as well as large, complex multi-disciplinary projects.Independently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning team throughout entire project's development.Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.Participate in reviews with various governing agencies.Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff.Coordinate workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule.Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule.Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed.Perform technical analyses and report preparation.Perform studies and reports related to planning for infrastructure management and improvements.Lead client project and technical meetings and/or workshops.Provide leadership and mentoring for water/wastewater engineers and design staff.Perform other duties as needed.Required Qualifications10 years related experience including project management.PE (or ability to obtain through reciprocity).Demonstrated leadership skills.Excellent writing and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.Preferred QualificationsExperience with wastewater infrastructure planning and design.Master’s Degree.Candidates who reside in the local New England area are preferred.Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also about what you do and how you do it.
