Every employee at Revolution Space works on projects that are critical to our company’s future by ensuring our products work on orbit every time.Position Summary:Revolution Space is looking for a Quality Specialist to support quality functions for our in-space propulsion products. The Quality Specialist will ensure products meet established quality standards and industry requirements; monitor processes and inspect incoming materials, in-process assemblies and finished product; propose product and process quality improvements to assure zero defects.The position is full-time located at our Boston, MA headquarters and is available to be filled immediately.Responsibilities:Incoming material and component inspection and testIn-process assembly inspection and testReview and analysis of inspection and test dataCreation of quality problem records – driving and facilitating review and disposition approvalAssist in problem solving: root cause analysis and corrective actionAudit verification of corrective actionsCreation of quality management system documentation, inspection plans and instructions, quality SOPs.Required QualificationsEducation or training in science, technology or engineering3+ years of relevant work experience aerospace, military, electronics, semiconductor, electro-mechanical assemblyDemonstrated experience with quality systems (e.g. ISO9001, AS9100); interpreting mechanical drawings and electrical schematics; use of common mechanical, electrical and optical inspection/measurement/test tool; problem solving skills - experience with structured problem solving (root cause analysis and corrective action) methods (e.g. 8D, A3, DMAIC)Proficient with data entry and analysis (e.g. Excel)High level of learning agility: pro-active ability and willingness to learn and applyAction oriented – can take action from being given directionsStrong communication and interpersonal skills – ability to clearly and concisely communicateEligibility and ability to obtain a government security clearanceTo conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanents residents of the U.S., or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or any other protected factor.
