The UCLA Department of History invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in early modern western European history, 1500-1800. The department welcomes candidates considering any theme or methodological approach within these geographical and chronological parameters, and it particularly values conceptually innovative research.All candidates must have completed their PhD in history or related field by May 30, 2025. The appointment will begin on July 1, 2025. The deadline for receiving applications and required documents is November 1, 2024.
