Job Title: Manager - Provider Relations (ACO)

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dynamic ACO Provider Relations Manager who will oversee the daily management of the provider relations strategy for all contracted ACO providers, for both the MSSP and ACO REACH programs. The Manager will be responsible for both field and office activities, delivering ACO-specific education and support to our ACO providers within the network. Responsibilities also include improving operational efficiency across all contracted practices to ensure overall provider satisfaction and collaborating with the practices to ensure compliance with CMS standards for those participating in either of our ACOs. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the healthcare industry.
What You'll Do:Work closely with the ACO Operations team to execute ACO initiatives throughout the year, reporting regularly on aggregate team progress, roadblocks, and provider feedbackRoutine visits to providers in assigned territory to develop a trusted relationship and maintain open lines of communication between our ACOs and our providersConduct provider onboarding, orientation, and ongoing ACO educational training throughout the year to ensure providers are engaged in our initiatives, meet any necessary deadlines, and remain compliant with state and federal regulations as well as company policies and proceduresBoost the importance of the ACO line of business within provider officesLead and mentor a team of provider relations specialists, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high performance and professional growthAssign tasks, set goals, and monitor progress to ensure team objectives are met in alignment with organizational goals and prioritiesDevelop and implement strategies for retention, growth, and marketing within assigned territoriesProblem-solve and identify ways to address provider issues timely and effectivelyWork cross-functionally with internal departmentsOther duties assigned by department leadersQualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience2-3 years of experience in managing provider relations, network management, or a similar role within the healthcare industryDemonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve shared goals and objectivesAbility to travel occasionally as needed for provider meetings, conferences, or other eventsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient computer skills and Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)You're great for this role if:
Strong understanding of ACO's and Medicare FFS preferredDemonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, set clear objectives, and drive performance towards achieving organizational goalsComprehensive understanding of healthcare delivery systems, reimbursement models, and regulatory requirementsExperience in ACO programs such as NextGen ACO, GPDC, ACO REACH, or MSSP a strong plus but not requiredExperience in developing contract strategies, identifying opportunities for cost savings or performance improvement, and mitigating risksExperienced in healthcare industry operations, fostering provider engagement, and navigating Medicare Fee-For-Service systemsRelentlessly resourceful. Our organization follows an in-person work structure where the expectation is to work in office on a weekly basis. The office is located at 9700 Flair Drive, El Monte, CA 91731.This is a field representative position and requires traveling depending on assignments or projects. This could be 2-3 times per week, and also requires monthly visits to provider offices.Occasionally required to work overtime and /or during the weekend. Must always have and maintain a reliable source of transportation.The total compensation target pay range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000. This salary range represents our national target range for this role.
