Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of Transportation EIT, we'll count on you to:Work as a member of a design team in preparation of the following elements of roadway and highway design using local (state, county or city) or AASHTO standards: horizontal and vertical alignment, intersection layout and sight distance determination, interchange layout, roadway drainage, and right-of-way plans.Work with a team in the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates for projects of various sizes and complexity.Produce plans including Roadway Sections, Alignment/Right of Way Plans, Temporary Erosion Control Plans, Site Preparation Plans, Roadway Profiles, Drainage Plans and Profiles, Utility Plans, Paving, Pavement Marking Plans, Signing Plans, and Traffic Control Plans.Perform other duties as needed.Those without an EIT Certification will have the title of Coordinator.Required QualificationsProficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD; familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3D.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.What We BelieveHDR is our company.
