Are you a proactive and energetic Leader in Site Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability, with a continuous improvement mindset? The
HSE Site Lead
is the go-to expert and an integral part of the
Virginia Site Leadership team . Your role is to drive HSE excellence and embed a strong behavioral safety culture across all levels and functions within the site. Managing one highly skilled direct report, you will continually look for opportunities to improve the site safety, environmental protection, hygiene and industrial compliance of activities, along with assisting in the development, implementation and maintenance of HSE strategies and programs that ensure safe working practices.At Sanofi Consumer Healthcare, we build trusted and loved brands that connect with hundreds of millions of consumers worldwide. Promote and display proactive health safety and environment practices.Minimise the environmental impact of the business.Display a visible commitment to building a strong safety culture for all Sanofi representatives, ensuring serious injuries remain low and active participation in proactive safety programs aiming for a continuous reduction in the rate of incidents related to unsafe practices and unsafe conditions.Identify compliance risks in Health, Safety, Environment and Workers Compensation and assist managers to develop strategies to achieve compliance.Ensure that Sanofi Consumer Healthcare Management are aware and informed of all statutory obligations, industry codes of practice and Sanofi policies and requirements.Compliance to Fire control, Insurance, Flood, Hazardous and Flammable Materials regulations.Provide guidance and leadership with respect to incident investigation and hazard reduction, and appropriate and timely reporting of incidents.Ensure the activities are within the limits of the HSE cost center budget.Responsible for development of policies and procedures in the department.About you
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Health & Safety, Science or Engineering.QLD Workplace Health & Safety Officer Certification - Industrial.Desirable Qualifications:
Return to Work and Rehabilitation Coordinator (Highly desirable).Certificate IV in Environment Management.Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.Fire Safety Advisor.Experience:
GMP and HSE experience in a medium to large FMCG organisation or Industrial, Resources industries.Experience in rehabilitation and return to work (nice to have).Proven examples of identifying opportunities, and taking ownership in company Behavioural Safety Culture programs.Soft/Technical Skills:
