As a Senior Pricing and Procurement Manager in the freight forwarding industry, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the cost-efficiency and competitiveness of the company’s logistics services.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Pricing Strategy Development:

Analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and customer requirements to develop competitive pricing strategies for various freight services.RFQ support:

Provide pricing for the global air RFQs, customer tariff, internal tariff, and strategic spot quotes.Supplier Negotiations:

Engaging with carriers and other logistics service providers to negotiate favorable rates and terms, ensuring cost-effective procurement of transportation services.Cost Analysis:

Conducting detailed cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements across the supply chain.Contract Management:

Managing contracts with suppliers and service providers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and maintaining strong relationships.Market Research:

Keeping abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and economic factors that impact pricing and procurement strategies.Collaboration:

Working closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives and customer needs.Reporting:
