As a Sr. Category Supplier Manager, you will be responsible for developing a category strategy for managed categories, validating strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers and the respective internal partners and customers. You will be conducting strategic sourcing initiatives, planning and executing negotiations using supplier and industry analysis, benchmark and cost management. Through management of the category strategy, you will also be building positive relationships with internal customers, driving best-in-class cost, supply and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

Category Management & Strategic Sourcing of Facilities CSA and MEP Subcontract Works Package:

Recommend resource levels across procurement sourcing categories, projects and functions.

Establish procedures to track collaborator, customer, and partner happiness with key suppliers.

Recommend targets to improve value, such as growing revenue, reducing spend, enhancing purchasing efficiency, improving customer service, and managing suppliers effectively.

Analyze sourcing trends and make recommendations for assigned categories.

Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal-setting.

Develop category strategies for managed categories and validate strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers and internal partners.

Cost Management & Analysis:

Identify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue levers.

Drive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets.

Provide market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal customers.

Use should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace.

Negotiation:

Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etc.

Lead sourcing events/RFQ process into bundled negotiation.

Incorporate savings targets and contract requirements into negotiations.

Develop a contract strategy for suppliers in assigned categories and build, negotiate, supervise and enforce contracted terms and conditions.

Conduct strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and cost management using supplier and industry analysis.

Business Partnering:

Collaborate with Customers to Deliver Strategic Solutions.

Develop and maintain expertise in the assigned spend categories through relationships with key customers.

Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement.

Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships to improve cost-effectiveness, supply chain efficiency, and resilience.

Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of experience in Semiconductor industry, EPC functions, facilities procurement functions.

A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Proven experience in category management and strategic sourcing.

Strong negotiating and analytical skills.

Strong communication skills and ability to effectively manage relationships with various individuals involved.

Advanced skills in material cost structure understanding and analysis.
