Position Overview : Manna Beverages, a dynamic and growing company, is seeking a Director, Operations COE. In this key leadership role, plan, organize, direct, and control the course of operations and maintenance by integrating and coordinating operations functions and processes with business goals across the enterprise. Maintain profitable operations by controlling inventory, losses, accidents and safety. Seek synergies and best practices to develop and implement new methods to improve productivity or improve customer service. You will oversee critical functions that enhance equipment efficiency, maintenance and facilities. Reporting to the President in the interim, you will play a pivotal role in guiding strategic decisions by evaluating growth opportunities and risks.
Language Skills:
English proficiency required. Spanish is a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Amount of Travel Involved:
75%.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee all manufacturing operations to ensure they meet the strategic company goals including safety, quality standards, customer requirements, financial and operational efficiency.
Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for equipment operations.
Work closely with plant management and leadership on company goals and strategic actions to improve performance and support innovation.
Implement best practices in maintenance to preserve assets, improve equipment reliability and uptime.
Ensure prompt and cost-effective solutions are implemented for unanticipated maintenance requirements.
Direct the operation and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment for all facilities.
Recommend modifications to existing capital equipment and physical plant facilities.
Work closely with the Engineering team concerning improvements/upgrades to existing equipment centers and overall line efficiency.
Align with Engineering on all new capital projects to ensure seamless integration into plant operations.
Manage and direct automation and process improvement goals and objectives for assigned plants.
Lead strategic business planning initiatives in collaboration with other departments.
Build reliable capacity models with glide paths to support business.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Assist to ensure suggested innovations and improvements are compliant with all state and regulatory requirements.
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing operations team.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
Own all manufacturing and maintenance spends.
Implement, own, and refine processes, KPIs, and scorecards to drive functional accountability and deliver results.
Drive effective, proactive maintenance programs to ensure equipment and sites follow preventive maintenance programs.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of all buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Manage and direct facility operations, including maintenance and maintenance records.
Additional Responsibilities:
Implement an Operational Center of Excellence for Manna’s Plant.
Collaborate with divisional peers and the President to improve overall performance while supporting teamwork.
Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to align with common goals.
Set and execute operational goals for staffing, equipment, systems, and processes.
Manage and track KPIs related to productivity.
Collaborate with Finance and Commercial to manage the budget.
Develop and implement effective recruitment, training, retention, and career development plans.
Champion the utilization and adoption of new technologies and process improvements.
Demonstrate strong leadership and maintain positive employee morale.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
CPG or FMCG experience preferred.
Proven experience in a senior operational role within the manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality management systems.
10+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing/management role.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of achieving financial and operational targets.
