Within Student & Grad Programs, we have our Tech Program Portfolio that includes CODA (Capital One Developer Academy).Capital One Developer Academy (CODA) is a robust and intensive six month coding training bootcamp that prepares ~200 (per year) analytical, non-Computer Science majors for careers in software engineering. Associates will spend their first six months learning how to code and be equipped to develop their career in tech. The completion of CODA culminates with a direct path into a software engineering role in our Technology Development Program (TDP), which is our pipeline of top technology talent.We are looking for an exceptional CODA Program Lead to oversee the strategy, delivery, and expansion of the program, and manage a team of ~4 associates. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coaching and developing early career talent and proven experience leading projects and processes in a well-managed way. They should be excited about the opportunity to influence strategic decisions using a data-backed approach. We are looking for team players who are solution-oriented, are comfortable working in some ambiguity, and have effective program/process management, communication, and relationship building skills.Core responsibilities will vary but may include:Serve as a people leader for ~4 direct reports, empowering and inspiring them to deliver their best work each day, establishing a team environment where each team member feels included and valued, and managing all talent and performance management activities.Lead the strategic direction for CODA, which includes defining team scope and impact, influencing program curriculum and experience, strengthening partner interaction models, and communicating team goals across the organization and with relevant stakeholders.Manage relationship with our CODA Accountable Executive and other key stakeholders, including S&G Recruiting, HRBPs and LOB/Tech teams.Set strategies to ensure diversity, inclusion, and belonging are prioritized throughout the hiring and associate experience.Consult and problem solve across your program team and the broader Student & Grad organization.Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.At least 4 years of program management, client facing, or consulting experience, or a combination.At least 1 year of people leadership experience.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or military experience.At least 2 years of people leadership experience.At least 5 years of program management, client facing, or consulting experience, or a combination.At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting.Significant experience analyzing metrics, trends, and survey data, and using them to make strategic changes.
