Overview:Director of Battery Storage will oversee all aspects of the company’s power distribution, ensuring effective design, construction, and management of power services. This role is responsible for driving the execution of large-scale power distribution and substation construction projects, managing engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.This remote role is ideally suited for candidates residing in

Florida

or the southern states, as occasional travel to project sites will be necessary.Responsibilities:Direct the Power division, ensuring alignment of engineering and construction teams with company goals for optimal project delivery.Oversee the planning, design, and execution of all power projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality across BSS projects, meeting or exceeding industry standards and leveraging emerging battery technologies.Collaborate with senior management to define division objectives, aligning them with the company’s growth and service goals.Provide technical direction in engineering design, construction practices, and maintenance standards specifically for BSS, advocating for best practices and innovative solutions.Establish and monitor performance metrics, implementing process improvements for enhanced project delivery.Provide high-level technical guidance for engineering design, construction practices, and maintenance standards in power distribution and substations.Evaluate emerging technologies in power distribution and advise on their integration to improve efficiency, sustainability, and reliability.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Experience in power distribution, substation construction, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven experience managing large-scale construction and engineering projects, preferably in the power services sector.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution networks, and substation engineering.
