Supplier Diversity Manager

will play a critical role in developing and implementing a Supplier Diversity program to enhance supplier diversity objectives across Bausch and Lomb’s supply base. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier diversity best practices, and a commitment to driving inclusive procurement initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to create a more diverse and competitive supplier base.Key Responsibilities:Supplier Diversity Strategy / Program:

Develop and execute a comprehensive supplier diversity strategy and program, aligning with company goals and values.Supplier Identification & Engagement:

Identify, evaluate, and engage diverse suppliers in categories such as marketing, IT, professional services, facilities management, etc. Build and maintain relationships with minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, LGBTQ+-owned, and other underrepresented suppliers.Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with internal stakeholders across departments to identify procurement needs, advocate for diverse supplier inclusion, and ensure alignment with procurement goals.Supplier Development and Engagement:

Provide guidance and support to diverse suppliers, helping them navigate the procurement process, understand requirements, and enhance their capabilities to meet company standards.Data Analysis & Reporting:

Track and report on supplier diversity metrics, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and impact assessments. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.Policy & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to supplier diversity. Advocate for the integration of supplier diversity into procurement policies and procedures.Outreach & Advocacy:

Represent the company at industry events, supplier diversity forums, and networking opportunities to promote the company’s commitment to supplier diversity.Continuous Improvement:

Stay informed about trends, best practices, and innovations in supplier diversity. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the program’s effectiveness.Education/Experience/Skills:Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPD) is a plus.Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or supplier diversity, with a focus on indirect procurement.Technical Skills:

Proficiency in procurement systems, supplier management software, and data analysis tools. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to assess supplier capabilities, track metrics, and present data-driven insights.Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Leadership Skills:

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive change in a large organization.Commitment to Diversity:

Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a track record of advocating for and implementing diverse supplier initiatives.Preferred Experience/Skills:Experience in working with diverse suppliers and knowledge of the challenges they face.Understand supplier diversity certification processes and organizations (e.g., NMSDC, WBENC, NGLCC, etc.) and experience with engaging with key supplier diversity councils.Experience with building diversity program including processes, reporting, objectives, and targets at prior multi-national company.Experience in the Pharma industry is a plus.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
