The Charles Lea Center is a national leader in providing supported living solutions so men and women with disabilities can live more independently. Additionally, we provide an array of other support services designed around supporting people to achieve their unique goals and interests. Depending upon the individual's needs and desires, Charles Lea Center staff is experienced at customizing support and programs to fit the individual. In fact, it's what we do best! We support and train our staff to understand the needs of men and women who are living alone for perhaps the first time in their lives.
As an Eastern NC Director of Operations, you are part of our Administration team and your passion for empowering others, teaching, and helping others achieve their potential contributes to our exceptional services and high level of satisfaction of those we support. Acting as the first line of support to the amazing people and families served by The Charles Lea Center, you will work and communicate in an open, helpful, and engaging tone, to support others to take steps on their journey to independence.

Requirements:
At least 18 years of age
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Be able to pass a background check upon hire
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in Human Services with at least three (3) years of administrative experience
Good computer skills to include but not limited to Microsoft Office
Travel frequently within NC and SC Areas
Your Role:
Our Eastern NC Director of Operations works under the general supervision of the Director of North Carolina Services. The Eastern NC Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of all services programs in New Hanover County and Pitt County. The Eastern NC Director of Operations carries out the policies and procedures that will improve services and ensure that service expansion goals are established. The Eastern NC Director of Operations oversees the hiring and recruitment activities for all direct care employees in New Hanover County and Pitt County. The Eastern NC Director of Operations provides supervisory support to the area Program Managers as well as the Qualified Professional for the eastern part of the state.
