About the Team

VIZIO’s Information Technology team is seeking a Deskside Services Administrator to join their growing team. The successful candidate will have the ability to work with cutting edge technology that helps facilitate productivity, support, and services to VIZIO. The Deskside Services Administrator will report to the Supervisor, Deskside Services and provide support to employees in their local office and company-wide employees via remote assistance.

What You Will DoSupport on-boarding of employees in weekly New Hire Orientation meetings.Collaborate with other DSAs to provide weekend on-call support. This is rotational.Provision hardware on a weekly basis for new employees. This will be either PC or Mac.Provide L1, L2 support to users locally and company-wide via Email, Chat, or Phone while meeting SLAs, follow procedures, processes and KBs.Assist Infrastructure and Client Services Teams in deployment of new technologies like Microsoft Intune, Jamf, and others.Provide support for Video Conferencing Systems.Evaluate (along with Senior DSA and DS Management team) hardware to ensure maximum productivity.Oversee IT assets inventory and stocking level at local LA office.Coordinate with local building office manager for building access and related requirements.Learn, support and fill-in for other team members, if required.Occasional travel to remote site across the US, including driving to Irvine, CA office.Other tasks as assigned by DS Management team.

About YouYou have a minimum education level of a High School Diploma.You have a deep understanding of macOS with at least 3 years of experience supporting the OS.You have extensive experience with Windows 10. Minimum of 3 years.You have 1+ years of related work experience.You are a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, yet at times, ambiguous environment.You are a hard-working team player, with a “no task is too small” attitude.You can explain technical issues to non-technical users.You can work with software developers when they need assistance. Providing them with correct solutions and root causes analysis.At least 1 year of working with ticketing systems like Jira, ServiceNow, etc.At least 1 year of working with Office 365 Admin Center.Exposure or understanding of Microsoft PowerShell (Automation) and Terminal for macOS.Solid foundation of Windows imaging .wim, ghost, etc.Exposure to software packaging.Understanding of Active Directory tools.

The minimum pay for this position is $22.12/hr. The maximum salary for this position is $27.88/hr. In addition to base pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
