About the Team
The VIZIO Data Lake team is looking for a highly talented and motivated data scientist to help provide insights, perform A/B testing and other statistical analyses, and to prototype complex ETL’s. We are looking for a dynamic employee to perform non-commoditized data work. The position can be held in one of several offices (Denver, Los Angeles, New York).
What You Will DoWork cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and business stakeholders.Develop and write algorithms for use in production.Let the problem be the guide, sometimes the solution is a heuristic. Other times, it’s a model.Use data to evaluate the efficacy and value of product features.Organize and document complex technical projects.Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
About YouGraduate degree in a STEM field or three years industry experience as a Data Scientist.Fluent in Python and SQL.High sense of ownership and results driven.Basic understanding of predictive analytics, mathematical modeling, and statistics (theory, algorithms, and application).Familiar with modern big data technologies and CI/CD frameworks.

Salary Information
For Colorado-based employment:
The salary for this position is $106,000/year. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.For New York-based employment:
The minimum salary for this position is $106,000/year. The maximum salary for this position is $138,000/year. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
