job summary:Our West Michigan client is looking for a Mainframe developer to assist in retail operations. This is a remote position, but preferences will be given to candidates local to Grand Rapids, MI or the surrounding Great Lakes states. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years developing in COBOL/DB2 with exposure to Azure and .NET.

responsibilities:
Support multiple COBOL, JCL batch/CICS, VSAM/DB2, zOS and online applications
Complete various production support activities such as: analyzing, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance and documentation
Manage allocation of time efficiently between multiple project phases
Attend project meetings and report status as neededqualifications:
Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 10 years of experienceEducation: Bachelors
