We’re seeking a seasoned professional to join our Iron and Casting Business Leadership Team as the Digital Technology Leader. In this pivotal role, you’ll shape our digital strategy, aligning it with Charter Manufacturing’s overall objectives. As a key partner to business leaders, you’ll define and prioritize our Division’s Digital Roadmap, ensuring IT solutions propel us toward success. Your expertise will empower our team, enhance our culture, and set us apart in the competitive marketplace. Join us in accelerating the adoption of cutting-edge digital solutions and making a lasting impact across the enterprise.Your role as a Director of Digital - BR LeaderStrategy:As a Business Relationship Manager / Digital Technology Leader you will develop and own the digital strategy aligned with the Business Unit and Charter Manufacturing’s objectives.Develop strategies that drive digital transformation to support manufacturing.Participate in operational reviews to identify IT and Digital capabilities for cost reduction and operational improvement.Digital Roadmap and Portfolio Management:Define and prioritize the Division’s Digital Roadmap, including IT solutions.Collaborate with stakeholders to align objectives and goals.Coordinate technology purchases and evaluate legacy applications for replacement.Change Leadership:Support the Division President and CDIO in adopting digital and IT solutions.Keep the business informed about evolving technology trends. Build momentum and excitement around the potential digital tools and capabilities by building awareness, knowledge, and skills excitement and translating this to adoption.Provide innovative solutions aligned with business needs.Leadership and Team Management:Develop talent and support digital capabilities.Assist the business unit staff in delivering the business plan.Liaison Between Business Unit and Digital Organization:Drive digital technology solutions that enable strategy realization.Collaborate with the Digital Technology leadership team.Coordinate IT services and track performance.Qualifications We’re SeekingBachelor’s Degree
in a related field supporting digital transformation.Developed digital transformation strategies
aligned with business unit vision and goals, collaborating across a matrix organization.10+ years of leadership experience , successfully managing large teams and balancing stakeholder accountability.Expertise in complex multi-plant manufacturing , spanning technology areas (infrastructure, applications, software development, IT operations).Effective communication skills , both technical and non-technical, including conflict resolution.Experience in program and portfolio management.IT Business Relationship Manager
background in multi-division manufacturing.Customer-service orientation
and ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.Skill in influencing without direct control
over resources.Track record of developing detailed business cases and requirements.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s Degree
in a relevant field.Understanding of
business strategies and financial cycles.Familiarity with
Oracle ERP.Proficiency in
Agile methodology.Knowledge of
Lean Manufacturing.Experience leading a
digital transformation journey inside of manufacturing facilities
to help us drive strategies that enable automation, etc.
